This is absolutely not true. “I’m just using one of the free Anti Virus solutions” is the other one. The fact of the matter is Anti Virus is a must that acts as an important defence. We use a fantastic cloud based solution that alerts us if a vulnerability tries to install itself on customer devices. Most of the time it stops it but it’s great that we are alerted so we can check. If it’s intercepted anyone can read it. That’s why it’s recommended that things like passwords are never sent by email.
